The main assessment comprises 60 questions, with the answers functioning within an adaptive response system that initially presents binary answer options. However, if the system detects the user is hesitant to answer, the system adapts to the user's needs by providing an alternate question increasing the answer system to four options. This adaptive approach aims to provide a more accommodating experience for the user's specific requirements.

If needed, an “Unsure” tab provides deeper insight into each question, allowing users to understand the question's context for a more accurate response.

For convenience, users are given easy-click access to comprehensive reports on a thousand modern careers, providing detailed descriptions, salary expectations, projected industry growth, and entry pathways.
CareerFitter also offers access to career videos that present a realistic depiction of a day in a chosen career. 
Within the user’s dashboard, the Aptitude Aversion Assessment (A3) is provided for no cost and integrates with the CareerFitter results. This test offers a further refinement of career options by evaluating environmental preferences and learned conditioning that may influence career decisions.

A user's "Personality Fingerprint" is generated as a visual illustration of their work personality strengths across eight evaluated characteristics, each a different color. Hovering over a characteristic provides a detailed explanation of how that dominance influences their work energy, behavior, and decisions.  A user is allowed to share their fingerprint on social media or embed it within their professional CV.

If a user is ready to pursue employment, a national job search tool auto-populates the title of a career selected by the user and shows real-time companies hiring based on the user’s location.
